This is a pyrex full thickness 12.5" diameter F2.7 mirror. I purchased this thinking itmight be parabolic however it appears to be hyperbolic. I believe it was made for a Ritchey Chretien cassegrain system. It is cored and has a nice polish on it uncoated. Nice piece of glass which I can't possibly finish as I do not have the knowledge. Nice condition with a very small edge chip on the edge of the core hole. This will be covered by the secondary shadow. Nice expensive ready to to be completed optical item. This mirror is for anadvanced person with knowledge of producing compound optics. The mirror requires aconvex secondary mirror in order to work as a telescopeoptical system. Sold as is no returns.
