Here\'s an ancient and quite beautiful Partrick & Carter telegraph key and sounder that dates to the 1870\'s. Completely original, its condition is excellent throughout, as you can see in the pictures. Original enamel finish, original gold decorations, original magnet coils, original wiring, original brass fittings and screws, original gutta percha knob on the key (with no cracks, chips or other damage), original hardware, original brass binding posts, original polished mahogany board with its original finish still intact. Overall a great piece of communication history in excellent original condition. Measures approximately 8\" x 6\" x 4\".That\'s about it.
