NOTE: Spherical mirrors can be pulled into a parabolic curve by a method known asflexing. The result is often better than a polished parabolic mirror if done properly as parabolic mirror generally have a rough surface and spherical mirrors generally have a smooth surface. 6\" f/3.8 spherical mirror, coated and ready to mount (holder is not included).
1-3/8\" minor axis secondary flat, also coated - spider and holder are not included.And you get a barlow lens to put into your focuser drawtube.
You end up with a short tube (about 2 feet long) 6\" scope tube with an effective focal ratio of 9.3 or 1400MM.you must use the barlow lens in the focuser to get this focal length and a good image, so this kit is not for first time telescope makers.But if you want a short 6\" tube with the benefits of a long 6\" tube and a super low cost, grab one of these kits!
