If you\'re looking for a Mak-Cass scope, this is a GREAT scope. Thestandard 32mm Plossl eyepiece is very good, and mounted on this scope givesexcellent 67x views. Being a Mak it has great contrast (almost as good as adecent refractor) and having 130mm of clear aperture it does a decent job ondeep sky objects as well (the aperture is just a cut above many of the 5-inchMak-Cass scopes). I bought mine as a spotting scope, so it needs decentequatorial mount for astronomical objects. The finder scope is a 9x50, which isquite a cut above normal as well. This scope is on the heavy side for itsaperture, so don\'t skimp on a mount. I bought mine on sale, and I have verypleased and impressed (I was not looking to buy a scope, but I couldn\'t resistthe price). Backlash in focusing is minimal. I don\'t use it much as a spottingscope, so I don\'t find much use for the \"flip mirror\" feature. Thesupplied case is good, with solid foam padding to carry the scope. The C130 ishighly recommended if a moderate-to-large Mak-Cass is what you\'re looking for.On price-for-performance and appropriate use, this is a GREAT scope.
