This unit was set up on our showroom for 1 month. An individua was mounting the tube onto a Celestron CGEM Mount. Whilemaking the switchthe scope bumped the RA Knob of the mount in the process. The result.....an ever so slightlydinged the optical tube. After the bumb we inspected the scope, tested the optics and re-collimated the mirrors to ensure for professional quality performance. She is boxed up and ready to go at a disocunted price! We only have one and once it's gone it's gone!
Celestron's high quality Schmidt Cassegrain design is available without the computerized mount in an Optical Tube Assembly. This is a great way to upgrade, without the need to buy the whole telescope system.
The Celestron C11 optical tube assembly system comes with Celestron's premium StarBright XLT coatings and its large aperture offers light gathering power 1593 times that of the human eye and 89% more than their 8" model. Included with the C11 optical tube assembly is a 40mm eyepiece, 1.25" visual back, 9x50 finderscope, a star diagonal and a CG-5 dovetail rail. General features are listed below.
