Another round of clearing out “stuff” we no longer need or want. Everything is No Reserve and FreeShipping, so I’m setting the opening bids on some of the stuff just highenough to cover the cost of the packing and shipping and a trip to the Post Office.
Thisis a Meade 1000mm Mirror-Lens telescope, with two additional eyepiece lenses,and everything else you see in the pictures:The original box and Styrofoam inserts, the soft drawstring carry bag,the 90-degree prism adaptor, the protective cap for the lens, the Meade 25mmeyepiece, an Orion 12.5mm eyepiece, and an Orion 2x Barlow lens. I just hand-held it and looked through it;the image is crisp and clear, and focuses well. The only thing I must mention is that the focusingring is not perfectly smooth as you move it.I don’t know enough about the scope to attempt to analyze this orattempt to fix it, so be aware of this before you place a bid, because I’mselling it in the condition I have just described it. Way back when I was shooting 35mm film, Ibolted it to my Nikon FA and it took nice shots, mostly of the full moon. I probably should have sold the Meade when Isold the Nikon, but that was a while ago.
