A complete, brand new set of FIVE quality Meade MA (modified achromat)
eyepieces in a handy padded case. Each eyepiece features a
heavy duty chrome barrel threaded to accept 1.25" filters, and glass lenses.
The set includes one each 6mm, 12mm, 17mm, 20mm and 25mm eyepieces.
What makes modified achromat eyepieces a good deal? Since it requires at least three elements to focus
all
three primary colors of light (red, green, and blue) to a common
point, the modified achromat eyepieces have
three lens elements -- a real step up from the lower quality two-element Ramsden or Huygen design eyepieces.
