• This is a brand new, factory sealed, telescope: We have found this incredible new brand of quality telescopes and are now making them available for sale directly to the public with a special arrangement with the factory. The TwinStar family of optical instruments is made by one of the largest "private label" optical component fabricators in the world. In fact, this telescope was manufactured in the very same factory that makes optical products for Bushne, Tasc, Knus and many other name brands. While this is nearly the same instrument you may see in a catalogue for hundreds of dollars more, by developing the TwinStar brand, the factory is able to sell the same product to us for much, much less. This telescope is brand new and has never been removed from the original factory packaging.

With the Barlow, you can achieve up to 430x magnification of distant objects. • Aluminum Tripod & Equatorial Mounting: The aluminum tripod is fully adjustable and allows even taller people to observe the stars without having to crouch down in an uncomfortable position. A handy accessory tray on the tripod makes it easy to keep track of extra eyepieces. With the equatorial mounting, the telescope is designed to move in any direction -- making it possible to track the movements of stars as the track across the night sky. Use the declination circle, hour circle and latitude scale in conjunction to quickly locate any celestial body. Thanks to precision worm gears and a substantial counter weight, the telescope can be balanced so that the slightest finger touch turn of the flexi cables will move the telescope in any direction with a smooth, steady motion.

Be warned, UPS and FedEx will deny nearly all claims of damage to optical instruments. But with us, there is no hassle. If your telescope is damaged in shipment, we will take care of any claims with the carrier, it is not your problem, it's ours. Your replacement parts will ship right away, regardless of what the carrier allows for damage, you won't have to wade through the lengthy insurance claims process. That's our promise.
