This is a vintage used telescope made by Optolyth in West Germany.Comes with original box and paperwork. The cardboard box shows signs of wear.Optolyth has been in business since 1856, and still manufactures binoculars and telescopes for hunting, outdoor, birding and leisure activities.
Both ocular and objective lenses (glass) are pristine and show no scratches, signs of wear, nor fogging.
The body of the scope features a threaded tripod connector for mounting to a standard tripod (even one that is for a camera).
Subtitled by the manufacturer as the \"Twilight Telescope\" that never fails. Superior resolution, with multi-coated lenses.
To use, clasp one hand around the rubber armored objective tube, use the other to pull the ocular tube all the out until it stops.
Focus by turning the knurled ring around the ocular lens to the right or left. Easy.
Came with an ocular lens cap to keep dust out, but no objective lens cover.
Kept in a dry and smoke free environment.
This is a great scope for bird watchers, hunters, target shooters, and amateur astronomers.
