Up for sell is the Stellarvue SV110ED and a 50mm finder scope.
Both are used and in good working condition.
SV110ED is a semi-APO f/7 telescope that is binoview ready.
By removing the extension tube (black one in the photo), a binoviewer can reach focus without a Barlow, thus allowing a wide field of view.
Plus its large aperture (~2x of an 80mm scope!), it is great for wide field view with binoview.
This is a ED telescope, so it’s color correction is not really APO level. However, to me it is only visible at very bright objects with minimum effects on resolution.
Also included are a newly bought 2” William Optics dielectric diagonal ($153 new), it’s 50mm finder scope, mounting rings, and a soft case.
There are some dust on the lens and some minor blemishes outside the scopes (see images), which do not affect the quality of the view / image.
I am mostly visual but also provide a few images to highlight the quality of this telescope:
(1) M42 - a single 30sec exposure (2) white light Sun with 2x Barlow and a Herschel wedge
Note that no dovetail plate included - you need to find one that suits your mount.
The scope is moderately heavy, a bit heavier than a c8, at roughly 12-15 pounds with all things mounted.
Make sure you have a good mount to support it.
