Tasco-branded clone of the Celestron NexStar 4GT. Around 20 years old. 4\" f/13 Maksutov-Cassegrain on GoTo mount built by Synta, integrated flip mirror, NexStar controller. The secondary baffle fell off and was reglued, optics are pretty clean but not perfect. Excellent views at the eyepiece, and slews/tracks accurately too. Red dot finder, caps, original shipping box/foam included.
Basically the same as newer NexStar 4SE but with level-north tech and memory for location (though otherwise inferior software) and sounds like a coffee grinder when slewing. Fits most SCT tripods or wedges. Runs on AA or 12V power - nice and clean battery terminals!
