The worst issue with this telescope is the battery pack has a little corrosion on a couple of the contacts, nothing terrible but those contacts might need cleaned up some. The battery pack is only used when being used as computer compatible. There is also an optional 12v AC adapter Tasco has to use instead of this cumbersome battery pack which requires 8 AA batteries. The optional AC adapter and AA batteries are NOT included.
