Antique Solid Brass 3-piece TelescopeI'm unsure of the age but looks to be late Victorian and consists of 3 sections and a very heavy tripod standA very large telescope, once mounted on its tripod it stands 18" tall (approx) and fully extended nearly 5 feet in length!While I'm no expert it appears to be in very good condition. The lenses are bright and clear with no scratches/cracks etcThe wooden box is a little tatty and missing a few struts but this could easily be modifiedI have taken photo's both with and without the flash as it looks quite different under varying light conditionsTo create something like this today would cost many thousands of pounds and would have originally been a prestige possession for the elite. Sadly nowadays telescopes are all plastic and rubber. This would look stunning displayed in a period property!I am happy to ship world-wide & Accept many forms of Cash on collection/inspection also welcome
