By introducing the North Star and two neighboring stars (three in total) at the specified positions on the built-in scale, you can easily align the polar axis with an accuracy within 3 arcmin. Since the position information of the stars used is aggregated, it is not necessary to read the hour angle scale provided on the outside of the conventional polar axis telescope at a dark observation site.
