An Antique Shepherd & Co London Petzval Type Brass Camera Lens.
** I understand that these can sometimes be used as a Portrait and also as a Landscape Lens by changing the Lens configuration.
Missing its Rack and Pinion Focus.
55mm Screw Mount on the Outer Sleeve.
* Has had a Waterhouse Stop Conversion ( Slot) at some time, this has subsequently been blocked off from the inside.
Focus Length is 125mm, approximately.
* The outer Rear Lens shows some \"cloudiness\", as shown, the internal Rear shows only light cleaning marks, neither shows heavy scratches, chips or cracks.*
Front Element (not disassembled by myself), shows some minor peripheral anomalies, as shown, (Lens Cement I think) otherwise with only minor signs of age and use, no chips, cracks or heavy wear.
* The Lenses have no movement within their Elements when assembled.*
** No mold or fungus.
* All Threads run cleanly and smoothly, they will tighten fully without issue.
* The Body shows only surface patina of age and us, no dents, cracks or major damage, all as shown.
* Hood slightly mis-shapen to its Edge but intact with no major damage
