I am listing tonight three (3) electric motors that are suppose to beprior to 1900. I am not an expert, but these look very early. This third motor also hasno identification tag, but looks very differentto the Carlisle & Finch motor I have listed because the bipolar coils are on each end, not stacked.It is also about 5 inches high and about 9 1/2 inches long. Itis on a wood (appears to be oak) base and the other details can be seen in various photos. Please ask questions or request more pictures if required. This motor is in all original condition andwould clean-up nicely.This is a style of electric motor I have not see before and appears to have elaborate castings surrounding the brush end of the motor. Nice item....
