This is for a nice old miniature thread counter, it was a littlemicroscope used by inspectors (lookers) in the rag trade, mainly in Manchesterto count the number of threads in a certain area....in this case one quarter ofan inch. It was made in Manchester and it is in absoluteexcellent condition with no damage to it anywhere, just a few light areas ofdiscolouration that could be polished out if you so desired. It measures 25mm x17mm when folded up.
