For Your Consideration......A Beautiful Original Victorian English Monocular Microscope With Mahogany Case......a 19th Century..(Circa 1880`s-1890`s) Brass Lacquered Microscope..Stamped with London Makers Name ...Made by.......E.G.Wood..74 Cheapside, London..England..
This is in Original Untouched unrestored Condition...All I have done is dusted the Mahogany box ..fed the wood with a little Beeswax, and gently wiped the Mirror and All Lenses with a soft cloth....Please see pictures they form part of the description..
I have taken the full quota of 12..to show you as much detail as possible..Please feel free to ask any questions always happy to answer any inquiries you may haveregards Description..Condition..Shipping etc...Lovely patina on the mahogany case you only find on Antique well aged and handled wood...Small split to the back of the case(Nothing major) and also one of the doorhinges needsattention.Lovely carrying handle to the top and beautifully constructed with dovetail joints etc..Small drawer to hold Microscope slides..Someone has placed an old screw for the original small handle..The Microscope itself seems to be in good order with all mechanisms working well..Please ask any specifics I will do my best to answer..But be Gentle on meLadies and Gentleman This is the first microscope I have sold..
