Up for auction is what I believe is an antique Whimshurst static electricity instrument. There is no tag on it, but after doing some research, it appears to look like a Whimshurst instrument. It also appears to be in nice shape with the exception of one plastic piece busted on a bottom metal arm (see picture). The instrument is very large and measures 22\" x 18\" x 8\". The disc measures 12\" in diameter. It is also heavy which unfortunately will add to the shipping. Sold AS IS due to the fact that I have not tested this unit. Please review all pictures.
