PLEASE NOTE: The Baader T-2 90-deg Prism Diagonal (with Zeiss Prism) consists of a diagonal body with prism only. It is provided as a basic component, without any nosepiece or eyepiece holder. It incorporates standard T-2 threads at the input (female T thread on the telescope side) and output (male T thread on the eyepiece side) faces. This permits the diagonal to be used as a compatible component along with the other Baader Planetarium T-2 adapters and accessories.
Baader Planetarium has just expanded their innovation in star diagonals. Now, the mid-size, flexibility, and cost of the T-2 Prism Diagonal make this the ultimate diagonal for high power planetary viewing, or in systems where back-focus or space is limited and a full aperture 2" diagonal will not work or is not flexible enough. One of the key features of T-2 diagonals - be it prisms or mirrors - is the large free aperture and the flexibillity to directly adapt onto almost any telescope system, without the bottleneck of a 1.25" barrel size which may cause vignetting in long focal length 1.25" eyepieces or when working with a binoviewer on top of the diagonal. That is precisely why Baader offers the body of all their T-2 System diagonals without adapters.
The Baader Planetarium T-2 Prism Star Diagonal is easily the finest prism star diagonal available today. The right angle prism is produced by Zeiss and is the identical prism that Zeiss supplied for use with their exquisite APQ telescopes. The famous Baader Planetarium 7-Layer Multi-Coatings ensure the image is bright and contrast and the oversized prism provides an oversized full clear aperture of 34mm / 1.34".
Like all the Baader Planetarium products, the mechanical quality and finish are superb. The precision machined aluminum housing provides a stress-free mounting and precise location for the prism, unlike the typical weak plastic or crudely cast housings found on lesser diagonals. Extremely low scatter and high contrast images are the hallmark of this prism diagonal. The end result is a lifetime diagonal that matches or exceeds the brightness and image quality of the finest mirror star diagonals. Users of fine refractors over f/7 as well as SCT users have found that the Baader Planetarium T-2 Prism Star Diagonal provides the sharpest and highest contrast images they have seen from any star diagonal, mirror or prism.
Modular T-2 System Design: The design of the T-2 Prism Diagonal enables it to be configured to exactly suit your needs. The input and output T-2 threads integrate with the full range of Baader Astro T-2 System components and other T threaded adapters. The telescope side can hence be configured to fit in 2" or 1.25" focusers, as well as directly on telescopes with specific threads such as original M44 Zeiss threads, Vixen OTAs or Russian Maks. The eyepiece side can be used with Baader's quick change ring #6 in order to mount the Mark V binocular viewer instead of an eyepiece (in order to achieve the shortest possible backfocus distance between telescope and binocular viewer) or alternatively mount 1.25" (not 2") eyepiece holders. It is also the perfect diagonal for use with the Baader / Zeiss Giant Binoviewer (replaces the normal prism diagonal). Not just a visual accessory, this diagonal also integrates well into digital imaging applications. The effective optical path length of the base T-2 Prism Diagonal with Zeiss Prism is 41mm.

3. US SHIPPING
Delivery Time: Most orders ship within 1 business day of receiving payment. First Class shipments will take 3-5 days to arrive after we ship it. Priority Mail shipments will take 2-3 days. However, these delivery times are NOT guaranteed by the USPS. Delays of up to 2 weeks can occur in about 5% of the shipments.
Tracking/Delivery Confirmation: We will send you a Delivery Confirmation number in the shipment notification email after your order ships. This is not detailed tracking, but it provides some very basic tracking info en route. Sometimes, the USPS neglects to update this info for a few days but your shipment is not affected.

4. INTERNATIONAL ORDERING / SHIPPING
Shipping Cost: Click on the "Shipping and Payments" tab above and select your country to see your shipping choices and cost. If you need a shipping cost estimate for multiple items, please contact us.
Handling Fee: For all international orders, we charge an additional handling fee of 3% of the purchase price of the item(s). This will be added to your order total when you check out.
Delivery Time:
1) USPS First Class International: Delivery takes about 3-4 weeks after we ship your package. This can frequently take 4-6 weeks or more for several countries (8 weeks for Italy, Argentina, and South Africa; 8-12 weeks for Brazil). THERE IS NO TRACKING FOR FIRST CLASS SHIPMENTS. The information shown in your eBay account is just a customs form number - it is NOT a tracking number as incorrectly indicated by eBay. Once your package ships, we can do nothing but wait until your package arrives. Please do not become impatient and contact us in 2-3 weeks if your package has not arrived. If you don't receive the package in 6 weeks, contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If you don't want to take the risk of this delay, then DO NOT USE First Class mail - use Priority or Express shipping instead.
(2) USPS Priority Mail International: Delivery takes 1 - 2 weeks after we ship your package. This can sometimes take 3-4 weeks to several countries. The USPS provides some basic tracking information for Priority shipping.
(3) USPS Express Mail International: Delivery usually takes 5-10 business days after we ship your package. You will receive a tracking number with which you can track your shipment from USPS.com. Note: If you use this option, you must send us your phone number when you check-out or else your shipment will be delayed. This is required for international postal forms.
Again, these delivery times are NOT guaranteed by the US Postal Service. The most common reason for delays is slow customs inspection and clearance in your country, and can be very long, even for Express mail packages. Upon shipping your order, delivery delays are beyond our control, so do not leave us negative feedback or file a Paypal claim if your package is delayed. Delays are quite common but losses are very rare, so your patience/cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Customs and Duties: You are responsible for any duties and taxes that may be levied in your country. These are not included in the item price or shipping cost. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be or if they will be levied upon delivery. Customs policies vary widely from country to country (Some countries such as UK are strict about imposing hefty customs duties). 5. RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY
US Orders: We must receive any returns within 14 days from the time you receive it. A minimum restocking fee of 10% will be levied for all returns and exchanges. A larger amount will be deducted if there is evidence of use or wear, dirt, scratches, missing packaging/parts, etc.Shipping fees are non-refundable (for items with free shipping, the outbound S&H cost we incur will be deducted) and you are responsible for all return shipping costs.
