This is for a beautiful pair of ornateantique Victorian 9ct gold lorgnettes. They have a little handle and finger ring and they fold out for use from the top. The bridge between the lenses, the ring and the collar are all very ornately decorated, deeply chased and highly detailed. They have a lovely look and patina and they havebeen tested and are 9ct gold.They arein absolute excellent condition with no damage to the metal, the swing out with just the right amount of give, not too tight and not too loose, and the lenses are crisp and clear, giving good magnification, There are no dings, dents, splits, holes or cracks and no repairs or restorations, there are two tiny little nicks right on the very edge of one glass lens, butthey dont affect anything at all, they are more or less just as you would hope to find them.
