Many collectors are unaware that San Francisco glass blowers made cone inks. There are some identifying characteristics which are unique to western blown cone\'s versus the \"Carters\" cone inks. This is a beautiful deep sapphire blue ink with an unembossed base. It was dug in Northern California in 1880s context, and is very crude with a giant bubble and a crude top. This is a super tough color to find in these inks, and the condition of this piece is excellent, with some inside stain and a micro scratch or two. No flakes, chips, cracks, open bubbles or flashes.
