Description:

The Celestron 93624 Narrowband Oxygen III 2-inch filter is a remarkable advance for the serious visual observer of emission nebulae. One of the biggest advantages of narrowband filters is that by passing only the light emitted by nebulae, light from artificial sources like street lights is blocked. This allows you to take detailed exposures of nebulas from a suburban location that can rival shots from much darker sites. The Celestron 93624 is made of high quality, solid plane parallel glass.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Celestron Narrowband OIII Filter 2 inch #93624 (O3, oxygen III, oxygen-3) isolates just the two doubly-ionized oxygen lines, 496 and 501nm, emitted by planetary and emission nebulae.
Blocks the rest of the overall spectrum of light.
Results in extreme contrast between the black sky background and the faint photons of OIII light.
The Oxygen III filter is necessary for detailed views of the Veil, Ring, Dumbbell, Crescent and Orion nebulae, among other objects.
Each Celestron O3 filter has an ultra hard, vacuum-deposited coating carefully designed to block all of the visual spectrum ranging from 400 to 700 nm.
Eliminates the un-natural colored halos surrounding bright stars common with less sophisticated competing O III filters with inferior coating technology.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it (see exceptions in Paragraph g) below) within 7 days of receipt, for a refund, or a replacement - subject to the following:

a) Contact HotDigital to receive a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, to ensure proper handling of the return and/or replacement. Products cannot be returned without an RMA number.

b) In order to be eligible for a full refund, less shipping expenses, your returned merchandise must be in its original unopened mint condition, as shipped, with all packaging, manuals, and paperwork intact and unaltered. Items removed from their 'blister-pack' display packaging are non refundable.

c) Only the purchase price of the product is refundable. Customers remain responsible for the shipping and handling expenses incurred in shipping the item to them. If an item is offered with "Free Shipping," this means we are paying the freight on your behalf. If that product is returned for a refund, the shipping expenses incurred, will be deducted from the refund. If an item is refused, the carrier bills us for shipping both ways, and these expenses incurred on your behalf need to be deducted from your refund.

d) The issuance of an RMA# does not guarantee final disposition, as all returns are subject to our inspection. If the product you are returning is not in brand new, mint condition, as per Paragraph b) it is non refundable and can be picked up of subject to at least 15% restocking fee. If your return is missing accessory components, or shows signs of wear and tear - restocking fees will be higher. So please limit your Returns to unopened items in their original condition with all documentation, packing material, and accessories intact. For specific restocking fees that may be applicable to your Return, please contact us at cs@hotdigitalclub.com.

e) Returns should be packed in an outer shipping carton, to avoid defacing the original box/packing of the product. The RMA# should be clearly inscribed on the shipping label. A copy of your invoice and Order # should be included, and your Return should be insured, with shipping costs pre-paid. We cannot accept any COD shipments.

g) There are product categories which are not returnable, due to hygienic, sanitary, or other reasons, as required by the respective Manufacturers. Please review the categories below to make sure that your purchase qualifies to be returned.

Non-Returnable Categories: BBQ Grills; Consumable, Perishable, and/or Sensitized items, such as: Paper, Ink, Lamps, Bulbs, Batteries, and Software; Car Stereo, DJ, and Home Audio; DVD Players; Video Games and Consoles; Home and Kitchen Appliances; Luggage; Musical Instruments; Personal Care; Printers and Scanners; Projection Screens; Televisions; Headphones/Earphones; Special Order items, where indicated; items in blister packaging and all items over $1200.00. If you’re not sure if your item is returnable please contact us BEFORE purchasing.

Purchases from these categories are final. In case any of these items is defective, Customer must return them to the respective authorized service centers, for repair or replacement at the option of the Manufacturer. These items cannot be returned to the Merchant.

For Domestic Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Territories: For many items there may be an additional shipping fee. (If your item does not show "other" service please contact us for the shipping cost). The free shipping is for lower 48 only.

For Shipping to APO/FPO's: In order to get a quote please e-mail us with your APO/FPO zip code first. We will respond with the shipping cost. Please note there are some locations we will NOT be able to ship to. The free shipping is for lower 48 only.

For International Shipping: Paypal is our only accepted from of payment .
