For use with all Meade telescopes configured for 1.25" eyepieces. These Plossl eyepieces are highly recommended for telescopes supplied with Super Plossl (SP) eyepieces as standard equipment. These Plossl eyepieces and Meade SP eyepieces virtually all share the same parfocal design - the advantage being another focal length eyepiece can be dropped into the eyepiece holder and the image being viewed remains sharp without the need for gross refocusing. Use of eyepiece designs that are not parfocal require refocusing to obtain a sharp image every time a different eyepiece is used. Meade Plossl eyepieces offer premium-quality, multi-coated optics and 4-element design that provides a wide 52 degree apparent field of view.
