The TwinStar family of optical instruments is made by one of the largest "private label" optical component fabricators in the world. In fact, this telescope was manufactured in the very same factory that makes optical products for Bushne, Tasc, Knus and many other name brands. While this is nearly the same instrument you may see in a catalogue for hundreds of dollars more, by developing the TwinStar brand, the factory is able to sell the same product to us for much, much less. This telescope is brand new and has never been removed from the original factory packaging.
Large 3 Inch Mirror: With a large 76mm (3 inch) primary mirror, this reflector telescope is ideal for backyard astronomy and is a great introductory telescope if you are serious about learning all about astronomy. With this three inch telescope, you can see tremendous detail when viewing the moon. With planets you can see the Rings of Saturn and the Moons of Jupiter. In dark skies you can see distant nebulae and galaxies as well.
Great Eyepieces & Accessories: This telescope comes with 3 eyepieces with storage containers, and a Barlow 2x lens. That gives you six different magnification options. With the Barlow, you can achieve up to 350x magnification of distant objects. Your telescope also comes with a dust-free cleaning cloth, a great map of the surface of the moon and a moon filter designed for reducing moon glare and making surface details more clear, and a poster of the solar system.
Aluminum Tripod & Altazimuth Mounting: The aluminum tripod is fully adjustable and allows even taller people to observe the stars without having to crouch down in an uncomfortable position. A handy accessory tray on the tripod makes it easy to keep track of extra eyepieces. With the altazimuth mounting, the telescope is designed for beginners and children. There is nothing to it. Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your item to request a return authorization. We are happy to refund your entire purchase price of any item that is returned in its original packaging and in new condition, less our actual original shipping costs.
For items that are not returned with the original packaging and cartons, we do assess an additional 20% restocking fee, provided the items are received in new, re-saleable condition.

Lost or Damaged Items

Warranty Info
We will replace or repair any telescope or accessory that arrived damaged, broken or defective at our expense if you notify us within 30 days after you receive the item.
Other telescope sellers have a simple policy -- no warranty and "buyer beware." We don't work that way. We carry a complete line of replacement parts for these telescopes and we stock them in our own warehouse. If your telescope is defective, we will send you a new part, or repair any broken ones, or send you a new telescope. If your telescope is damaged in shipment, we will take care of any claims with the carrier, it is not your problem, it's ours. Your replacement parts will ship right away, you won't have to wade through the lengthy insurance claims process. That's our promise. Please notify us within 30 days after you receive the telescope to tell us about any damaged, defective or non-working parts and we will take care of it for you.
