Here we have a deep \"Lockport\" or forest green open pontil umbrella ink with a VERY unusual outward rolled lip. Bottle is 2-3/8\" tall and 2-1/4\" in diameter and is in very good condition with a tiny (1/8\" wide) flake off the very edge of the lip but no other chips, cracks, or other damage. Pontil on this bottle is impressive…thick, beefy, and offset. Really an unusual ink from the 1850’s…likely blown at Lockport, New York.
