We are delighted to offer for sale this Skywatcher 8-24mm zoom eyepiece.

With multi coated lens this is sure to be a great addition to your eyepiece collection. It will enable you to have stepless magnifications over a wide range in one smooth operation. The amount of magnification will depend upon the focal length of your telescope. For example, with a telescope with a focal length of 700mm you will have a range from 29 -87.5x. With a telescope that has a focal length of 1200mm you will have 50 -150x at your finger tips. It is clearly marked showing the focal length on its body.

Solidly constructed it has rubber grip to assist altering the zoom range. The nosepiece has a captive ring to help prevent it slipping off your focuser accidently if you haven't secured it properly. It is threaded for filters and blackened to minimise reflections. It is silky smooth in operation.

The eyepiece is brand new and has only been opened for checking purposes.

"The multi-coatings worked particularly well during our field of view tests...one of only two of the zooms on test that didn't have any internal reflections on bright objects...Rotating the barrel to change magnification is quite smooth... At the 24mm setting the field of view was sharp across 80 per cent of the view...Cranking up the magnification to 8mm, we split the double star Albireo well...Jupiter had good detail as did the Moon at all magnifications...This eyepiece did a great job on a wide range of subjects"

Paypal is the quickest way to pay. We accept Postal Orders, Bank drafts and Building Society cheques and deal with them like cash so your goods are dispatched as soon as we have the payment.

Personal cheques are accepted but we need a minimum of 7 working days to ensure that they have cleared the bank properly. We will advise when we have received the cheque and when we will anticipate shipping the goods to you.
