Mine came with the tilt handle broken in shipping, I'm not a fussy guy so I just crazy glued it, and now it's back to new. It meets my expectations even with having to glue the handle back on. My old tripod is shorter at 60" and is showing its age (28 years old) but it was a professional much heavier duty tripod. I need the 72" to really clear the seated crowds at concerts & plays when videoing and i'm confident that this one will work well. I don't see it lasting 28 years, but who knows?

the legs and extensions work well. The pan is not smooth and difficult to an even and easy rotation of the camera. Shoe works very well. The crank handle should be made of a more solid material. Have had others similar in the past that have broken.

Too many times, good ideas are met with poor materials in the production and design of affordable lightweight tripods - this is NOY the case with this item. The materials are not that much better than comparably priced tripods, but the design makes it work to compete with the more expensive models. Just the 3-prong support near the base that makes the 3 legs not be able to collapse is a key that sets this tripod apart from all other tripods of similar price. Add on all the levels, the nice pads at the leg base, the easy-to-operate adjustment knobs all around, and you have an absolute delight! Then, if this all is not enough, it is lightweight, easy to carry, and has its own little case. This tripod is great! I love it.

not only came damaged, but this must be the cheapest tripod on the market, it is so bad, your camera will tilt down every time you press the shoot button because the plastic head is so flimsy it will actually bend down about a 1/4 inch so it is like mounting your camera on a spring and when you press the shooter in your camer it goes down, making all your pictures much more blurry than if you just held your camera with your hands, utter garbage.

Are there better tripods out there? Yeah, at three times the price of this one. Legs lock securely and the camera mounting plate will allow me to anchor my high power Bino's so that I don't "wave" around. A VERY GOOD BUY!
