Great educational product for kids to learn!
Great product for price and for kids to learn. Obviously wont get detail of a more expensive more magnifying time but great as a first microscope, especially great for kids, or just for fun to see. I truly appreciate the value of the product for the cost.

Good Metal Frame but very low quality lens
I'm going to start off by saying the price is good for a microscope that can zoom in 1200x. The framework is good with a nice metal frame except that some things were a little wobbly and the lab kit things are nice extra. The big problem was the lens...The quality was poor for focusing on the item you were trying to view on the microscope and it had some sort of red and blue tint around objects i was trying to view. I could never get it to focus right. The place where your eye goes is really small and was difficult to see through a small hole. There was also some sort of light blocking the view from seeing the object under the microscope. This happened a few times. So unless you know how to stain (apply red/blue dye to objects) plants or other small flat objects, you won't get much out of ... I'm going to start off by saying the price is good for a microscope that can zoom in 1200x. good for the price
Product came on time with all the additions included-service was fine. I found the design made it a bit hard to see the specimens easily, eyepieace may be just too small. But it all works fine. And for the low price, I didnt expect much more really. Next time I'd get the microscope with the option to attach image to a screen to see more easily.

My grand daughter, now 14, has had this a year
My grand daughter uses this a lot and it has made her want to study science more. When I opened it I was a bit disappointed as it seemed to have a lot of plastic; however, this has shown not to be detrimental to functionality. She is happy with it, it's helped her stay interested in school science, and allowed her to discover things she may never had without it. This makes me happy. It definitely was money well spent for a gift which is loved.My grand daughter uses this a lot and it has made her want to study science more.
