Heavy, but well balanced 2" objective lens. I am replacing my hodge-podge of 2" objectives to speed up lens swapping. I already do this with Celestron XCEL-X 1.25" lenses. The refocusing with swapping is minimal, just like with the XCEL series, and the 82 degree eye relief is marvelous when trying to peer into my Orion 14 inch Intelliscope standing on a step ladder platform viewing perch. Others have complained about a less than perfectly flat field, but I haven't noticed it. I am just thrilled to see what this light bucket of a scope can do with the Luminos lens set!

Beware, it’s a very large eyepiece! I use it on a 12.5 f4.8, and the views are great. Though it does show some edge of field brightness, I’m not concerned, as I prefer viewing in the middle field (such as planetary observation). Also, you should have some counterweight system in place, since this eyepiece is heavy.
