Great price on a compact tripod that fits my needs for a small camera.

Considering that I paid under $13 bucks, I wasn't too surprised to find that this is pretty cheaply made. The legs are spindly when fully extended, and it seems like it could blow over with a hard sneeze. What I completely overlooked, though, is the fact that this has no hand crank. I guess I had assumed that they all do, but, in fact, many of the cheaper tripods don't. What makes things even worse, though, is that the plastic knob used to tighten and loosen the telescoping center pole is really hard to turn. If you're only needing a tripod to use around the home occasionally, I guess this would be OK. Personally, I would have gladly paid a few more bucks for a tripod with a hand crank, had I known that this tripod lacks one.

Very compact tripod, suitable for small light cameras like cell phones. Not suitable for a big heavy camera.

It’s very light, which is convenient, but probably not great if you have a heavy camera. Compact and super easy to use.
