A Thornton-Pickard \'Tribune\', English Antique Mahogany & Brass Plate Camera & TripodRe-listed following a minor ebay listing breach relating to the wording of my \'Services\' section (see below). Apologies to the 120+ \'watchers\' of this item when listed last week.A Thornton Pickard Tribune plate camera, lens and oak tripod, from the late 19th or early 20th century, which may be of interest to collectors.Manufactured by Thornton Pickard at their Manchester works this double extension bellows camera was focused by rack and pinion with a turntable for use with a tripod.The camera is fitted with an unmarked (probably Thornton Pickard) lens and the ground glass screen measures 4 1/4\'\' x 3 1/4\'\', making this a quarter plate camera.The bellows, mahogany body, lens and tripod appear to be in good condition with only a small split to one tripod leg, which doesn\'t affect it\'s operation.
