im selling a large collection of surveyors instruments, some extremely rare models all from a private collection which hasnt been touched for many years, probably the best collection you are ever likely to find, most seem to be mining related, some have coal board names, various makers, some look like the best of the best, most instruments i list will have 12 photos so please enlarge them all and study them for an idea of the condition, viewing and collection very welcome as most are very heavy pieces in fitted cases.this auction is for a theodolite model in a wooden case looks like one of the top models, probably cost thousands, truly amazing looking piece, photos dont do it any justice, surely one of the rarer examples you are likely to find, cant see a makers name on this only old repairers label dated 1916 on the inside of the box on the door. info welcome - please note i will be unable to post this until week commencing 5th june which is several days after auction ends.
