Very Nice 1890s Cobalt BlueCone Ink Bottle
Thiscobalt blue cone inkwas blown in a two piece mold and is loaded withgreatbubbles, stretch marks,folds, etc.- definitely one of a kind.
Itis invery goodcondition withNO chips,cracks or damage - there is a couple spots of light inside stain.Any bright spots are just sun glare and the light areas are reflection from the overhead screen and the white table. I lightened the photos a little so that you can see the details.
Photo #2 is a close up showingalarge ovalbubble with a small one inside below the collarand a large \"U\" shaped fold with tiny bubbles inside in the top.
There is a very unusual backwards C shaped fold/glass stringthat starts in the top and runs almost to the bottom edge - marked with arrows in photos #5 & 6. There is a 1/4\" diameter bubble near the seam that extends over onto the bottom - can be seen in photos #7 & 9.
Photos #2, 4, 6 & 8are close ups of the top to show the stretch marks, folds and bubbles.
There is a little dust/dirt in the bottom - see photo #9.
There is a total of9 photos including close upsshowing allthe sides, top and bottom so you can see what is under thesun glare.
