A nice Pair of Small Vintage Faux Tortoiseshell Spectacles / Glasses dating from around 1930 to 1940s.
The Lens Frames are Celluloid and are made to appear like Faux Tortoiseshell. The rest of the Frame is made of Metal of which there is a small restoration to the right hand side .....See Photographs
The Spectacles are quite small in size (frame width 110mm) and were probably made for a young adult / teenager. The Lens are in good condition with no cracks or chips but could probably benefit from being cleaned properly.
Good Pair of Vintage Spectacles with Case.
The Spectacles measure approximately 110mm (4 1/4") by 110mm (4 1/4") when open and weigh approximately 17 grams (0.6 oz)

- Please note I make every effort to ensure all of my items are antique or vintage & are not modern reproductions. Therefore they have been previously used so they won't be perfect & may have minor signs of wear. However I will mention any defects or significant wear as honest as I can plus any description I provide is a statement of opinion only.
- So if you are not satisfied with any item that I have wrongly described, then please contact me & on return of the item I will give you a refund excluding return postage costs (except in exceptional circumstances). I would also request that you do not leave any neutral or negative feedback until I have had the chance to resolve the issue.
- I don't fully clean my items, as I believe this is a choice customers should have as many prefer items in their original state.
Payment
·Payment is to be Completed within 3 Days of the Auction Ending unless you contact me.
·If payment is Not received within 3 Days, then I will report a 'Non Payment Unpaid Item Transaction' statement to EBay, so please contact me with any delays in payment.

Shipping & Postage
I will always try to do combined shipping when more than one item is purchased and will charge an extra 50p per item.
If unsure with regards to postage costs then please clarify with me before completing payment for item/s, so I may review possible cheaper options and update invoice if necessary
UK Postage
When ever possible I will try to offer Free Postage to UK Buyers for items with a final value below £50. All items over £50 in value will be sent via Special Delivery and will be payable by the buyer.
Standard 1st Class UK-Items with value up to £20- This is a standard postal service for items which do not require a signature or tracking but require compensation up to £20 only....However there is no real Compensation for jewellery or items of value....If you need a higher level of Insurance please see the Special Delivery Details below
Signed For in UK-Items with value up to £50- This is a standard postal service for items with a Signature & Bar code Scanning on Delivery and offers compensation up to £50...However there is no real Compensation for jewellery....If you need a higher level of Insurance please see the Special Delivery Details below.
Special Delivery in UK – Items with value greater than £50- This Guarantees Next Day Delivery by 1pm & is a Money back Guarantee for Delay or loss up to a value of £500.....For items with a value over £500 will require enhanced insurance up to £2,500.
International Postage as from 31st March 2014
International Standard–This is available for most countries worldwide. It only carries compensation for £20 and does not provide any tracking service
International Tracked & Signed (preferred option if destination covered)– This is available for 43 countries worldwide. It only carries compensation for £50 but you can request additional compensation on request at an Extra Cost of £2.50....
International Tracked– This is available for 33 countries worldwide. It only carries compensation for £50 but you can request additional compensation on request at an Extra Cost of £2.50....
International Signed– This is available for most (190) countries worldwide. It only carries compensation for £50 but you can request additional compensation on request at an Extra Cost of £2.50....
For items with a value less than £20 I will consider sending by International Standard (previously Airmail) on a case by case basis.........Please remember regular International Standard has no tracking or insurance
Unfortunately all items being sent to Italy & Brazil must always be sent at least via International Signed
Terms of Sale
·Please note in the Interest of Both Parties & In -Line with PayPal’s Protection Policy, due to delays in the post & people not receiving their Items on some occasions, unfortunately all items with a winning bid of over £20 for Non UK customers will be sent by at least International Signed.
·If you can't find your destination for postage please contact me for a price
·If the item fetches less than £20 then I will consider posting it by International Standard mail on a case by case basis with no Tracking if required
·Returns need to be reported within 14 days from receipt of item.
·A full refund will be given if the item is faulty or not as described
·If you change your mind or any other reason a refund will be given less any postage costs & the buyer will return the goods by signed for shipping at their own expense and MUST BE MARKED ‘SALE RETURN’ to avoid UK Customs Charges and Fees.
·I will endeavour to keep all postage costs as reasonable as possible plus I will charge an additional 50p per item for combined shipping
·The importer i.e. buyer is responsible for taking care of / paying any customs duties, fees, taxes etc payable on items received in their country of domicile.
