Handy & Inexpensive Pistol Grip For Cameras
I use my high tech point and shoot camera to take LOTS of headstone photos in nearby cemeteries. Unfortunately my hands are too large for the camera on such shoots. So I found and tried this pistol grip/tripod from Circuit City. And now I NEVER leave home without it!! The camera attaches easily and securely and it sure does steady your aim. I hold it with my left hand and click the shutter button with my right. Nice clear sharp pictures that are never blurred from moving the camera even after HUNDREDS of pictures. Thumbs up on Circuit City's pistol grip tripod!! A sturdy little tabletop tripod, collapses into a pistol grip holder, perhaps most convenient that way as a mic grip. Made of abuse-resistant ABS plastic, this tripod has a big advantage in having a low center of gravity for greater stability from falling over. It has a 2.5 lb. weight limit, affording most cameras and consumer camcorders. Rubber feet. Lightweight. Adjustable positions head with quick adjust locking button. Only improvement I'd note would be to add silicone or foam to the grip area. Priced very well to at under ten dollars. An excellent accessory for low-light or stable shooting situations.
