Cheap price great tripod
I've read the reviews after I purchased it and I have to say I'm not sure if some don't know how to use it properly. I have an older hdd camcorder prob about 10 years old and it fits perfect, stands with no problem, it's a great item for the price and all. I'm really happy with it and it is very light also.

Didn't take much
After just 1 use, the locks that support the lower legs of the tripod stoped working on 2 sides. One of the middle legs was stuck and had to use significant amount of pill force to get it to release. Maybe it was just mine...who knows. If it Didn't have these issues, it would be a decent buy for the price. The top is very stable and sturdy but the lower you go the more fragile it becomes. The lower legs are very flimsy. Although it seems to be a great, inexpensive tripod...it is absolute junk. Legs are thinner than a pinky finger at their smallest. Head does not pivot easily and is not universal for all camera mounting layouts. Furthermore, the thumbscrews are somewhat awkwardly positioned and do not secure the camera tightly to the mount. My review is to spend a little more money and get a better product.

So I bought this for my blog. It extends easily, goes in a lot of directions, and is easy to put away. But it won't hold up to a heavy camera. Way too light and tips over. Luckily, I have a little point and shoot that I use. So I don't run into this problem often. I tried it with my roommate's DSLR camera, and it tipped right over in certain positions. For every day use that doesn't require a lot of direction change, I'd say its definitely worth it.So I bought this for my blog.
