VERY good value!! I was a biology major 50 years ago and taught biology for 30 years, having a lot of experiences with many different microscopes. This one is a very good one for amateurs, stamp and coin collectors, and for me, a tool to study aquatic insects with. Was amazed at the quality per dollar spent. The ONLY reason I refrained from 5 stars is because I know there are more expensive dissecting scopes that are larger and heavier-duty and so-called Brand Name. Not microscope but has so many uses.
I bought this for 3D viewing of stuff in electronics like tubes, parts and damaged items removed from circuit boards. Also great for work on small circuit boards when soldering. I use it for coins and viewing anything you just want to see a bit larger. Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. AmScope makes great products. I also have one of their microscopes.

Small but awesome
I bought one to do smartphone repair and it’s so awesome, but it’s small if you want to do anything else besides cellphone repair like a hobby you need a bigger one. But it works great and it does it’s job. Makes sure you don’t throw away the key you might need to adjust the wheel like it happen to me. Lol
