Unlock the Universe with Premium Clarity
Maxvision 127ED, a premium 127mm aperture triplet apochromatic refractor optical tube assembly (OTA) designed for the serious astronomer and astrophotographer. This instrument combines exceptional Japanese optics with robust construction to deliver stunning, high-contrast views and imaging performance that will transform your experience of the night sky.
Engineered with athree-element apochromatic (APO) lens systemfeaturingHoya FCD1 Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass, this telescope virtually eliminates false color (chromatic aberration) and spherical aberrations. Coupled with Explore Scientific's proprietaryfully multi-coated EMD anti-reflection coatings, the system ensures maximum light transmission, exceptional contrast, and true color rendition across the entire field of view.
Powerful & Versatile Performance
With a generous 127mm (5") aperture and a manageable 950mm focal length (f/7.5), this scope is a perfect all-around performer. It provides bright, detailed views of:
The Moon and planets (revealing cloud bands on Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, and polar caps on Mars)
Deep-sky wonders like star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies
Terrestrial subjects during the day
Its fast f/7.5 focal ratio makes it an excellent choice forastrophotography, allowing for shorter exposure times on deep-sky objects while maintaining pinpoint stars to the edge of the frame.
Professional Features for Demanding Users
