This model goes beyond the guaranteed wave accuracy of 1/6th and is tested at 1/10 th wave ptv 95.4 strehl ratio and documented, tested by Mike Palermiti, Optical Designer. Initial pre-sale certification shown. Original is signed and dated. These are 3-5 months back-ordered according to their advertising and sell for 3900.00. and now can only be custom ordered through European vendors. This unit was manufactured in 2007 and is flawless except for 2 scratches on paint. There are many large SCT\'s available, all very attractive but only by accident would you stumble upon a 1/10th wave unit. Compares with the Questar 7 and other high quality Maksutovs. Astrophotographers would be particularly interested in the wave accuracy to ensure excellent detail particularly to planetary and moon photos.
