This was my first telescope. Highly recommended for beginners since theMaksutov-Cassegrain type of telescope does not require collimation. It will work right out of the box.
The best experience was capturing the 2023 Lunar eclipse with the included cell phone mount. See photo in description.Telescope works great, but I decided to upgrade to a more powerful telescope. Amazing photos just using this telescope and my cell phone.
The included eye piece is great to start. The moon looks AMAZING. But you can see the rings of Saturn if you purchase a more powerful eyepiece, which we did.
