This item is listed as used but is in overall good shape. The cap that is listed is not fully functioning and does not hold in place. Tape can be seen in one of the teeth. The telescope itself is fully working but does have dust from storage on it. This is the original carry case for it so that is also a bit dusty from storage and the foam on the inside is starting to crumble a bit.
