An Antique Lacquered Brass Magic Lantern / Camera Lens.
57.0 mm Screw Fitting.
Of the Petzval type.
*Approximately* 115 mm Focal Length.
* The Rack and Pinion Wheel Focus Mechanism is not working, it does move if encouraged manually but slips when operated as deigned.*
* A tiny surface chip / anomaly ( very very small, as shown ) to the Front Lens, just off Center. *
Otherwise the Front and Rear Element Lenses are in good order, only minor cleaning marks / minor wear, no other chips, no cracks, no heavy wear.
The Lenses have no movement within their Elements when assembled.
All Threads run cleanly and tighten fully.
With cosmetic signs of age and use to the Lacquer of the Brass work but with no structural issues, no dents, breaks or major damage.
