This is for a beautifully preserved old French antique telescope with three draws. It has a shutter on the lens for protection and it has the original lacquered brass cover to protect the lens. It has a fine black leather wrap that is embossed in gold with the retailers Armes et Cycles of Saint Etienne. I dont know where this scope has been all these years, but as you can see it really is in the most exemplarycondition, it must have been stored away somewhere really nicely, it dates from the mid to late 1800s.It works fine and has really clear lenses that focus as they should, there are many different lenses inside when you take it apart, and they all look absolutely crystal clear.It measures 14\" long when extended, 128mm (5\") closed by 30mm (1\") in diameter at the base.
