To use the MASK PRO System, simply install the Mask Holder onto your telescope, then its as simple as sliding in the slide of your choice! Want to use a Mask Slide? No Problem ... Just Slide it in! And when your done, simply Slide it out!
- Bahtinov Mask Slide is used for focusing your telescope. Simply slide it in, then focus your telescope*. When the diffraction spikes align, your perfectly focused.
- Diffraction Spike Mask Slide is used for cool fun effects on bright stars. Simply slide it in, then watch as stars get cool spikes. You get a 4x, 6x and 8x Mask Slide with this kit.
Additionally you recieve the MASK DELUXE Dust Cover, which allows you to protect the optics of the Seestar S50. And yes, you can even power down the Seestar with the Dust Cover installed!
Additionally you recieve the MASK DELUXE Filter Adapter, which allows you to use 2" Filters on your Seestar. To use, simply screw your 2" filter onto the Filter Adapter (Do not overtighten). Then press the Filter Adapter onto your Seestar and you now can see the sky like never before! (Note you cannot power down the Seestar with the Filter Adapter installed)
Additionally you recieve the Dew Shield. To use, simply press the Dew Shield onto your Seestar and your set. If you decide to attach additional accessories, simply press them onto the end of the Dew Sheild and use as expected. Our Dew Shield measures 3.66 inches in length (93mm) and is compatible with all West Coast Astro Mask Pro and Mask Deluxe Accessories.
And finally, you recieve the Solar Finder. Safely align your Seestar without looking at the sun! To use, simply place the ring of the Solar Finder over the back of the Solar Filter. Then press the Solar Filter onto your Seestar and you now can align your Seestar up/down/right/left until the dot on the back of the Solar Finder is centered in the plus.
