This small low power Meade 80mm f/5 refractor will probably work "OK" within its severely limited specs once it has an eyepiece installed. Don't expect much from one of these for viewing planets as with their low F-ratio, useable power will be quite low. Sure, you will see the 4 large satellites of Jupiter and make out Saturn's ring, but that will be about all. As a useful astro telescope it's really one step above useless! The goto system appears to work OK, I had it running here inside and it sure seemed like it was seeking out the programmed object, but obviously it was never tried in actual operating conditions. The cord on the controller is frayed in a couple areas but the wires within are still OK. New batteries were installed in the base compartment. The 80mm objective is clear and in nice condition. The focusing system still works end to end and the mirror in the diagonal unit flips up and down as it should. No tripod. What you see is what you get! Sold as is; see below:

The purchaser, upon receipt, might not agree as to my assessment of condition, but that's what it was HERE in MY opinion and it's being sold officially for parts or not working.
