READ! 800mm!!! QUALITY Blue meade TELESCOPE AND GEARS fully functional in good working order. Used regularly. Dust free. Optics and coating in stellar condition. Extremely rare!
Current new product as of 2019!
I have photographed the moon, nebula, galaxies. And have seen nebulas as well from my back yard!
The refraction science is really the best in telescope class at splitting double stars!
Anyone can tell you they have a large tube for nebula and a blue meade for carrying to dark sites. I have spent several years researching and sourcing this scope. And bought it off a grandpa from New Mexico who loved it as well!
This telescope is also much faster than any 90mm scope. The newer models use cheaper manufacturing and can only get f11. This telescope is super rare and goes to f9! This can insure quality viewing and makes better use of the glass! This allows for higher magnification and better Barlow resolution.
This is a well cared for telescope. Selling so I can go on a honeymoon. Stored in my den. Smoke free home.
I am not pressed to sell, however a open to offers and do reply to messages.

Features
The white 90mm StarNavigator Refractor Telescope from Meade is a lightweight portable telescope for amateur astronomers and hobbyists beginning their stargazing adventure. The 800mm focal length, single arm motorized alt-azimuth mount, red dot viewfinder, and two eyepieces are all casual observers need in an entry level telescope. The 9mm eyepiece achieves a magnification of 88.9x, and the 25mm eyepiece yields 32x. With a 1.25" diameter barrel, the eyepieces will accept most 1.25" filters, regardless of manufacturer.
To help get the most out of the telescope, it comes with the AutoStar computer hand controller, allowing observers to quickly align their telescope with over 30,000 celestial objects in the built-in, and updateable, database. Simply locate a star, planet, nebula, or galaxy of your interest in the controller and the computerized alt-azimuth mount will automatically align the telescope with the selected celestial body. A step-by-step instruction manual and instructional DVD helps novices setup their tripod, mount, and telescope in minutes, leaving more time for observation.

Pleasantly surprised
GoTo is very accurate, the focuser is OK, but I would definitely upgrade the eyepieces.

I've used this scope on an off for a year...
Great starter. We've viewed the moon (bought a filter), Jupiter (our favorite by far), Mars. We had some issues, but Meade was by far the most helpful customer service experience I've ever had. We were trouble shooting, and they sent out replacement pieces to get going, with no questions asked. So, why not a 5-star rating? The tripod is too light. Any tap on the scope, and things are bouncing around in the view finder like crazy. Since the computer and tracking mount won't mount to any other tripod, this is a bit of a bummer (I have a very heavy camera tripod, and was hoping to put this on it instead). For pictures, I use a remote control for my Nikon D3300 in full manual mode.

great for the moon

very easy to use once you set the info into the remote controller, time and date, country-city-longitude-latitude etc. alignment of eye piece your using etc. read the book that came with it cause there very easy instructions. if ever a problem with the remote not keeping time and date. check the cr2032 battery under the 8 battery pack and make sure the connection that touches the cr2032 battery is tight. I had that problem by pushing the battery pack in at the wrong angle. and it pushed the connection pin off the cr2032 battery. telescope is now in sync and working perfectly. great scope once your all set up and at a fair price. you do not need a really expensive telescope to see the enjoyments of what's in our universe. I'm a skeptic about a lot of things but not this telescope.it does the trick. don't have to be a genius. enjoy

Decent Beginners Equipment.

Got this scope about a few weeks ago. Setting it up was a breeze. I was able to see the stripes on Jupiter with 4 of its moon using the supplied eyepiece. Blue-ish Sirius star also can be seen clearly. Orion nebula is kinda faint but thats probably due to light pollution around the parking lot. Most object can be seen clearly but focussing is a bit tricky due to the tripod is not very sturdy. Tracking is best done using the Autostar handbox. Get a barlow lens if you plan to take picture of the moon.
