The telescopetube is pointed to the object manually, until the crosshair in the planetariumprogram coincides with the desired object.

The resolutionof the encoders of each of the axis is 8000 pulses per revolution, which isquite enough to accurately point the telescope to the object.
Before using thesystem, you must enter the resolution of the encoders (8000 ppr) in thecorresponding fields of the planetarium program.
DobsonDream canwork with any planetarium program supporting work with basic encoders and DSC.
For example, fora PC with Windows, you can use the Cartes De Ciel planetarium, and for mobiledevices with the Android or iOS SkySafari planetarium.
DobsonDream ismade in two versions. Their difference in different communication interfaces,WiFi or Bluetooth.
In the standard kit, the DobsonDream controller contains a WiFiinterface.If you need a bluetooth interface – make a note of this whenplacing an order. Make sure you understand that Bluetooth version of the KITworks only with Android devices, while WiFi version supports both: Android andiOS devices.
